Matilda Potatoes

Matilda are medium-sized, slightly oval potatoes. They have yellow skin with netting, and yellow flesh.

They are marketed for the fresh consumer market as an all-purpose potato for baking and boiling.

History Notes

Matilda Potatoes were developed by Svalöf Weibull AB seed company in Sweden in 1970 from a cross between two potatoes known as “8/2144” and “Sv 67108.”
