Mohawk Potatoes are oblong, all-purpose potatoes with flaky white skin.

History Notes

Mohawk Potatoes were developed jointly by Cornell University in Ithaca, New York and by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) from a cross between Green Mountain potatoes and Katahdin potatoes.

Released 1943.
