Nemarus Potatoes

Nemarus Potatoes are oblong, with russetted skin.

These are waxy potatoes, but they are marketed as all-purpose for direct to consumer sales.

Not being grown commercially (as of 2006.)

History Notes

Nemarus Potatoes were developed by the United States Department of Agriculture from a cross between two potatoes referred to as “B7160-4” and “B7610-1.”

During development, the potato was referred to as “B9540-62.”

Released 1985.
