Niska Potatoes are oval with light-buff skin.
They are marketed as all-purpose for direct to consumer sales and processing into potato chips (aka crisps in the UK), with the processing market being the main market.

History Notes
Niska Potatoes were developed in 1976 jointly by Agriculture Canada and the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin from a cross between Lenape and Wischip potatoes.
During development, the potato was referred to as “W848.”
