They have greenish-yellow or yellow skin, with some russetting at the end and orangish-red blushes, with white dots.
Inside, they have crisp flesh with a sweet taste with no tartness. The flesh is aromatic, with a hint of pineapple in the aroma.

History Notes
Orin Apples were developed from a cross done at the Aomori Apple Research Station in Japan between Indo and Golden Delicious apples (the same that were used to create the Mutsu apple.)
