The berries will have a small, dry scar after picking.
The upright bush grows 5 to 8 feet (1 ½ to 2 ½ metres) tall. It is somewhat self-fertile, but best with another variety to cross-pollinate it.
It is a reliable producer of high yields, but needs 800 to 1,000 hours of cold weather during the winter.
