Peribonka Potatoes

Peribonka Potatoes are oblong, with thick brown skin with russetting, and off-white flesh.

They are promoted for processing into French Fries (aka chips in the UK) and as all-purpose for direct to consumer sales.

History Notes

Peribonka Potatoes were developed in 1990 by the Québec Ministry of Agriculture at its Les Buissons Research Centre in Pointe-aux-Outardes, Québec. from a cross between two potatoes referred to as “A7961-1” and “TATA 9192-15.”
