Potomac Potatoes

Potomac Potatoes are round, with smooth, buff skin, and white flesh.

They are promoted as all-purpose for direct to consumer sales.

History Notes

Potomac Potatoes were developed jointly by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the University of Maryland from a cross between Rural New York and Katahdin potatoes.

Released 1945.
