The bulbs of Purple Glazer Purple Stripe Garlic garlic have purple-striped skins with a pale gold sheen.

The bulbs will have fewer cloves than other purple stripe garlics, but they are easy to peel.

The flavour, though strong, is not hot, and doesn’t linger in the mouth.

The garlic belongs to the Purple Stripe sub-group of hardneck garlic.
