Red Nightfall Beans

Red Nightfall Beans are grown for use as dried beans.

Many sources describe the bean as “round”, but it’s actually more of a flattened, squat oval shape, with blunt ends.

Red Nightfall Beans are an off-white colour, with somewhat dark red dappling that is heavy in places. It holds its coloration after cooking.

Red Nightfall Beans also holds its shape well when cooked, making it good in relish, salads and salsa.

The taste is almost slightly sweet.

Cooking Tips

Cook Red Nightfall Beans as you would navy beans.
