Sliced Almonds are almonds that have been sliced across their diameter into wafer-thin pieces.

See entry for Slivered Almonds to read how they are made, and why it’s likely not worth your time trying to do it at home.

Equivalents

1 pound sliced almonds = 450g = 4 cups
1 cup sliced almonds = 100g = 4 oz (actually 115g, but 100g is close enough)
