Superstar Potatoes

Superstar Potatoes are oblong, with yellowish-brown skin and pale yellow flesh.

These are waxy potatoes, but are promoted as all-purpose for direct to consumer sales.

The plant flowers with white blossoms.

High yields.

May blacken after cooking.

History Notes

Superstar Potatoes were developed by Ste Unicopa and Clause companies in France from a cross between a potato referred to as “I.N.R.A. 67.8.637 X VK 66.429” and Famosa potatoes.

Released 1989.
