Table Queen Squash

Table Queen Squash is an acorn-type squash.

It has a greenish-black rind, sometimes with a spot or two of yellow or orange on it, with moderate ridging.

The squash grows to be 4 inches (10 cm) wide by 5 to 6 inches (12 ½ to 15 cm) tall.

Inside, the squash has dry, tender thick flesh that is a pale yellowish-orange colour, and is sweet-tasting.

The squash grows on an open-pollinated plant, whose vines spread out 6 to 8 feet (1.8 to 2.4 metres.) There will be 3 to 8 squash per plant.

58 to 90 days from seed.

Closely related to Connecticut Field pumpkin.
