Taylors Horticultural Beans are a member of the cranberry bean family. They grow on a pole-type bean bush that produces steadily through the season; 60 to 65 days from seed.

They can be used as a snap bean, shelling bean or dried bean.

Taylors Horticultural Beans pods are 7 inch (18 cm) long, stringless and green.

Inside, there are egg-shaped beans with one or two red streaks, and a white eye on one side.

Cooking Tips

Taylors Horticultural Beans are good for soups, and on their own with a bit of seasoning.

History Notes

Taylors Horticultural Beans were known in America as early as 1825.
