Tom Putt Apples

Tom Putt are medium to large-sized apples, slightly conical and flattened in shape.They have pale green skin flushed with dark red.

The fruit ripens in August.

The tree is a heavy bearer.

Cooking Tips

For cooking, cider or apple juice.

Makes sharp-tasting apple juice.

Often used as a blender in cider.

Storage Hints

Stores until February.

Tom Putt Apples were developed by a Reverend Tom Putt at Trent, Sherborne, Dorset, England in 1700.
