Tricky Jack Pumpkins

Tricky Jack Pumpkins are small-sized pumpkins with a bright orange rind.

They have good flavour and hulless seeds.

They are marketed for use as a Jack-O’-Lantern or for pie.

The plant is a hybrid bush type, with a 4 feet (1.2 metre) spread.

History Notes

Developed by the New Hampshire Agricultural. Experimental Station, in Durham, New Hampshire from a cross between a Cheyenne Bush pumpkin and a Sweetnut Squash.

Released 1969.
