Wodarz Apples

Wodarz are medium to large-sized, knobbly-shaped apples.

They have yellow skin with a red flush.

Inside, the flesh is white, firm, juicy and sweet.

The fruit ripens in late September.

The tree is hardy.

History Notes

Wodarz Apples originated at the R. L. Wodarz apple orchard in Danton Township, Richland County, North Dakota from a cross between Malinda and Northern Spy apples. Released 1978 by the University of Minnesota.
