Yampa Potatoes are oval potatoes with light-buff skin, and white flesh.
They have good flavour.
They are waxy potatoes.
History Notes
Yampa Potatoes were developed at the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA)’s Agricultural Experimental Station in Fort Collins, Colorado from a cross between Katahdin potatoes and a potato referred to as “USDA X245 186.”
