Young’s Beauty Squash

Most of us English speakers would look at a Young’s Beauty Squash, and say “pumpkin.”

It is round, occasionally slightly tall, with smooth, bright orange, hard rind with slight to moderate ribbing.

The squash are uniformly sized and shaped, being 8 to 10 inches (20 to 25 cm) wide and weighing 8 to 12 pounds (3 ½ to 5 ½ kg.)

Inside, it has thick flesh.

It is marketed as good for pies and good as a Jack-O-Lantern.

High yields; stands up well to shipping.

95 to 110 days from seed.
