Cornstarch Glaze for Bread or Rolls Recipe

A beautiful glaze for bread or rolls.

Whisk together in a small saucepan, heat till just starting to boil.

Lower to a very slow simmer, and whisk frequently until thickened and opaque.

Recipe notes

If you want to always have some on hand, double or triple the recipe and refrigerate. Use up within a few weeks.

Brush on bread or rolls about 10 minutes before the baking time is up, and then once more about 3 minutes before you take them out of the oven.
