Katsuobushi Dashi Recipe

Katsuobushi Dashi is a simple Japanese stock recipe, based on dried flakes of tuna.

Estimated Prep Time: 5 minutes

Estimated Cooking Time: 10 minutes



Bring water to boil in a pan over medium heat.

When the water is getting ready to boil, add the tuna flakes.

When it does start to boil, remove the heat. Strain out and discard the tuna flakes.
