À la Bourgeoise

À la bourgeoise means prepared in the style of the middle-class, urban family.

Vegetables are cooked along with the meat. The vegetables will always include carrots and onions, and sometimes other vegetables such as celery as well.

The meat will be beef, lamb or mutton.
