Abeille Potatoes have yellowish, flaky skin and yellowish flesh.
Above ground, the plant has dark green leaves; when it flowers, it will produce only a few small white flowers.
The plant delivers high yields later in the season.
This is a waxy potato, good for boiling.
History Notes
Abeille Potatoes were bred and released by the Québec Ministery of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food at their Les Buissons Research Centre in Pointe-aux-Outardes, Québec.
The potato is the product of a cross between two potatoes, Saginaw Gold and a breeding variety named TATA 9192-15.
