AC Belmont Potatoes

AC Belmont are mostly round potatoes, though sometimes slightly oval.

The potatoes have light buff-coloured skin that cleans up easily.

The flesh inside is white and waxy, making it a good table potato for boiling.

The plant delivers an early harvest. Above ground, it blooms with small white flowers with yellow centres.

Storage Hints

Does not store well.

History Notes

AC Belmont Potatoes were developed in 1967 by Agriculture Canada at its Fredericton Research Station in New Brunswick, Canada from a cross between potatoes named Raritan and F51013. Released 1991.
