AC Sunbury Potatoes

AC Sunbury are oval potatoes with smooth, pale yellow skin.

They have light yellow flesh.

This is a floury potato, best used for baking.

History Notes

AC Sunbury Potatoes were developed by the Government of Canada at its Agriculture Canada Research Centre in Fredericton, New Brunswick in 1978, from a cross between Raritan and Agitato (aka Y66-13-636) potatoes. They were called F80054 during development.

Released 2001.

Language Notes

Named after Sunbury County in New Brunswick, Canada.
