Allier White Ducks are very hardy, fast-growing ducks, with white feathers and orange shanks.
Males will grow to weigh up to 8.8 pounds (4.0 kg); females up to 6.6 pounds (3 kg.)
The females lay white-shelled eggs weighing around 80g.
History Notes
Allier White Ducks originated in the Bourbonnais area of in the centre of France, now the modern département of Allier.
The ducks may have the Aylesbury Duck as an ancestor.
