History Notes
Aquilon Potatoes were developed in 1986 by the Quebec Department of Agriculture at its Les Buissons Research Centre in Les Buissons, Québec from a cross between Hudson potatoes and a potato referred to as Campbell-13. Released 1999.
Language Notes
The name means “north wind.”
