Ball Whisks

Steel ball whisk

Steel ball whisk. Marie-Lan Nguyen / Wikimedia / 2012 / CC BY-SA 2.5

Ball whisks have straight tines that are joined at the handle, but not at the other end.

Instead, at their ends, they have small metal balls.

They are good for whipping egg whites and cream.

Fans swear that they do the job faster and easier.

Language Notes

The French call this whisk a “fouet éclair avec billes.”
