History Notes

Boone Potatoes were developed jointly by North Carolina State College in Raleigh, North Carolina and by the United States Department of Agriculture’s (USDA’s) Experimental Station at Beltsville, Maryland, from a cross between two potatoes referred to as “TI-5” and “B231-3.” Released 1956.
