Braised Red Cabbage Recipe
A very tasty cabbage side dish. Lovely with mash and something else.
Ingredients
- half Red Cabbage sliced thinly
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- half Onion sliced thinly
- handful Raisins
- 1 tablespoon Vinegar
Instructions
- Cook all the above in a covered saucepan or frying pan until the cabbage is tender -- about 10 minutes.
Notes
White wine, red, malt or cider vinegar is nice.
