Brise du Nord Potatoes are slightly oval, with smooth red skin and white flesh.
They are floury, but not good for potato chips (aka crisps in the UK) or for French Fries (aka chips in the UK.)
They are meant for sale direct to the consumer.
History Notes
Brise du Nord Potatoes were developed in 1987 by the Québec Ministry of Agriculture at its Les Buissons Research Centre in Les Buissons, Québec, from a cross between Trent and Chieftain potatoes.
