British Queen Potatoes

British Queen are oval, medium to large-sized potatoes with pale yellow skin and some pink around the eyes.

They have off-white flesh.

Now mostly grown in Ireland.

Cooking Tips

These are floury potatoes, and are extremely good for mash.

They can be served as a boiled potato if not boiled too long.

History Notes

British Queen Potatoes were developed in 1894 by an Archibald Findlay of Auchtermuchty Fife, Scotland.
