Cheyenne Bush Pumpkins

Cheyenne Bush Pumpkins are pie pumpkins.

They will weigh 5 to 8 pounds (2.3 to 3 1/2 kg.)

The plant is a compact bush-type, producing pumpkins ready to harvest 80 to 90 days after planting the seeds

Because it produces such an early harvest, it is good for areas with shorter growing seasons.

History Notes

Developed by the USDA’s Cheyenne Horticultural Field Station in Cheyenne, Wyoming from a cross between Cocozelle Zucchini and New England Pie Pumpkins.

Released 1943.
