Collen Potatoes

Collen are round to oval potatoes with white skin and pale yellow flesh.

These are semi-floury potatoes, that nevertheless stay together during boiling.

History Notes

Collen Potatoes were developed by Teagasc (The Irish Agriculture and Food Development Authority) at Oak Park Research Centre in Carlow, Ireland from a cross between Manna and Mizen potatoes. Released 1993.
