Cornfield Pumpkins

Cornfield Pumpkins grow to be 12 to 16 inches (30 to 40 cm) wide and 10 to 12 inches (25 to 30 cm) high, and will weigh 10 to 15 pounds (4 ½ kg to 7 kg.) They have strong handles.

They can be used for pies or ornamental use. They are a good pumpkin for carving.

History Notes

Stores well.

Language Notes

Reputedly farmers would plant Cornfield Pumpkins in amongst the corn, and thus the name.
