Eide Russet are oblong potatoes with russetted skin.

They were meant for sale directly to consumers, but are no longer in commercial production.

History Notes

Eide Russet Potatoes were developed by the University of Minnesota in 1989 from a cross between Norgold Russet potatoes and a potato referred to as “WNC325-1.” During development, the potato was referred to as “MN10874.”
