Golden Centennial Pumpkins are round, tending to oval. They will be 8 to 9 inches (20 to 23 cm) wide, with golden-orange rind, and thick flesh.

Golden Centennial Pumpkins were developed by the Ferry-Morse Seed Company of Detroit, Michigan from a cross between New England Pie and Winter Luxury pumpkins.
