The tree grows up to 20 feet (6 metres), and has fewer thorns than a Rangpur Lime tree.
The peel and insides of the fruit is more yellowish than that of Rangpur Limes. The fruit has 8 or 9 segments, 6 to 10 seeds, and gives lots of clear juice.
In Hawaii, the tree is grown in home gardens for fruit.
Like Rangpur Limes, Kusiae Rangpur Limes probably developed in India as well. It is called Kusiae after Kusiae Island in Micronesia, where the Spanish introduced it.
