Lungo Bianco di Sicilia Zucchini

Lungo Bianco di Sicilia has very pale green, almost white skin.

It is a slender zucchini, though it gets bulbous towards the end opposite the stem. When small , the zucchini have no ribbing, but ribbing appears as they grow larger.

They are best harvested before they reach 8 to 10 inches (20 to 25 cm) long, though they can grow up to 12 inches (30 cm) long.

The bush type plant is very productive.

It has better than average taste for a zucchini.

Language Notes

“Lungo Bianco di Sicilia” means “long white of Sicily.”
