Despite its name, the purpling on the bulb skin of Marbled Purple Stripe Garlic tends to be more splodges than stripes.
Inside, there will be 4 to 7 fat cloves (somes strains have 8 to 12), that have dark brown skin and are easy to peel.
The garlic belongs to the Purple Stripe sub-group of hardneck garlic.
Good for baking.
