Maxine Potatoes

Maxine Potatoes are round, red-skinned potatoes with white flesh.

They have good flavour.

They are marketed as all-purpose potatoes in America, but as waxy potatoes in the UK.

They are good for boiling because, like most waxy potatoes, they hold their shape well when boiled.

History Notes

Maxine Potatoes were developed in 1993 by a Jack Dunnett of Caithness Potatoes Ltd, Scotland.
