Montpellier Beans

Montpellier Beans are a filet type green beans that grow on a bush-type bean plant.

The pods are very straight, and will grow up to 6 inches (15 cm) long.

They are best harvested when 1/4 inch (1/2 cm) wide.

Cooking Tips

The green beans are best lightly steamed or lightly sautéed.

History Notes

Montpellier Beans were developed by the Petoseed Company for home gardens.
