Nootka Rose Silverskin Garlic

The uniformly-shaped and sized bulbs of Nootka Rose Silverskin Garlic are medium-sized, with thick, shiny, off-white bulb wrappers.

There can be 14 to 24 easy-to-peel cloves in 5 layers. Occasionally a bulb will have up to 35 cloves. The cloves have mahogany skin streaked with red, and red tips, and a strong, somewhat sharp taste.

Braids well.

The garlic belongs to the Silverskin sub-group of softneck garlics.

Stores well.

Nootka Rose Silverskin Garlic was first identified in the San Juan Islands, Washington State.
