Plymouth Fruit Cup was a concentrated Fruit Cup mixer, discontinued sometime around the start of 2008.
Made by the Plymouth Gin Company, it was based on Plymouth Gin, and flavoured with fruit extracts, bitters, Bols Dry Orange Curaçao, Cherry Heering cherry liqueur, Punt e Mes bitters, and vermouth.
Like Pimm’s, it was meant to be served mixed with white fizzy lemonade.
The product was sold in 700 ml bottles.
Plymouth Fruit Cup was launched in 2003. The blend was created by Sean Harrison and Wayne Collins.
The product was discontinued sometime around the start of 2008 (repeated attempts by CooksInfo.com to contact Plymouth to ascertain the timeline were stymied by the Plymouth company’s broken email system.)
