The bulbs of Polish Rocambole Garlic have skin with purplish, brownish blotches and occasionally thin copper streaks. The skin is thin and flakes easily, shortening the storage life somewhat.
The bulbs are uniformly-sized.
Inside, there will be an average of 6 fat, medium-sized, uniformly-sized, easy-to-peel cloves per bulb, ranging up to 8 or 9 cloves.
The cloves have a strong, spicy, hot, flavour.
The garlic belongs to the Rocambole sub-group of hardneck garlics.
