Red Pearl Onions

Red Pearl Onions are quite small onions with a red skin and red-coloured rings inside.

They are generally milder and sweeter than white or yellow pearl onions.

Unlike large red onions, their red colour will stay when they are cooked.

Substitutes

For look, replace with quartered red onions (though their colour will fade.) For size, any pearl onion.
