The 7th of May is Roast Leg of Lamb Day.
You could spit-roast a leg of lamb on your backyard grill, or use today as an excuse to fire up the oven and have an all-out roast dinner.
Or if today’s a work day, treat yourself and a friend to roast lamb at a restaurant.
North America is probably the only place in the world where most people avoid lamb. North Americans think they don’t like the taste, and lamb in North America is quite expensive compared to how much lamb costs elsewhere.
But if you haven’t tried lamb lately, or ever, today’s a good day to give it a try.
