Siberian Purple Stripe Garlic has large bulbs, with purple stripes on the bulb skin. The skin becomes more purple as you peel away the outer bulb skin.
Inside, there will be 5 to 7 cloves with brown skin and purple streaks, and pointy tips.
The clove flesh is cream-coloured. It has mild heat, with a lingering aftertaste.
The garlic belongs to the Purple Stripe sub-group of hardneck garlic.
Harvest later in the season.
