Ukama Potatoes are large-sized, oblong potatoes with smooth buff skin and pale yellow flesh.
These are waxy potatoes, promoted for processing into French Fries (aka chips in the UK.)

Ukama Potatoes were developed by Friese Maatschappij van Landbouw, Leeuwarde, Netherlands, from a cross between Marijke and Sirtema potatoes.
