Atica are oblong potatoes with yellow, smooth skin and light yellow flesh.
The plant grows well in a variety of climates. It is even being grown in warmer countries in the EU such as Greece, being planted there in their earlier spring, then ready for early export and sale back to Germany.
These are waxy, low starch potatoes, that are quite mealy when cooked, and hold their shape well.
Popular in Germany for table use.
The plant delivers an early harvest.
Cooking Tips
They are good for salads, boiling. They are not good for French Fries.

Atica Potatoes were developed in Germany by a Gunther Wriedt at Ragis Zuchtstation Heidehof. Released 1971.
